When is the Seattle Marathon 5K Race?
Saturday, November 27, 2010.
| What is the date for next year's race?
The 5K Race is the Saturday following Thanksgiving. For example, November 26, 2011; November 24, 2012.
| How long is the 5K Race?
It's 5 kilometers, which is 3.1 miles.
| What happens if I become injured after I enter and cannot participate?
There are no medical comps, rollovers or refunds, nor can you transfer your registration to another person.
| Can I register at EXPO?
Yes. 5K registration is available at EXPO on Friday Nov 26th from 11am-8pm. The price is $25.
| | Can I register day-of-race?
Yes! Day-of-race registration is from 7am to 8:30am at the start line at Seattle Center (5th & Harrison). The price is $30.
| | Can I walk?
Yes! Walkers are welcome.We ask that you start closer to the back of the line to allow runners to make their best time.
| | Can I bring my stroller/dog/iPod?
Yes! Strollers, wheelchairs, dogs on leash and mp3 players are welcome. We ask that parties with dogs and strollers start near the back of the line to allow runners to make their best time. | | What about parking and transportation?
The Seattle Marathon Association does not provide transportation to the Start Line. Local pay lots and street parking are available at or near the Seattle Center. The parking garage at Fourth and Mercer will open at 5:45 am. Be sure to allow time to park and walk to the Start Line.
