Design the 2012 Kids Medal!

As an added fun bonus to your running program, you are invited to participate in the 2011 Seattle Children's Kids Marathon Medal Design Contest!

Each year, the Seattle Marathon Association presents a trophy to one school team participating in the Seattle Children's Kids Marathon. This year we will be awarding the trophy to the school whose student submits the winning medal design AND the student will receive a special prize as well! On top of that, the winning design will be featured on our 2012 kids medal. How cool is that?!

Submission Details

To submit your medal design, download the medal design template form and mail, email, or deliver completed form to the Seattle Marathon Association Office, ATTN: Kids Marathon Art Contest (Limit: One Medal Design per Child). Seattle Marathon Association will select up to three of our favorite designs from each school to be part of the judging round.

Submission Deadline

All artwork must be submitted by October 28th to be considered.

Judging

The selected drawings from each group will then be posted on the Seattle Marathon Association website (www.seattlemarathon.org) under the KIDS menu. The Creative Director for the Seattle Marathon Association will select the winning medal design.

Winner

The winning artist and school of the medal design contest will be announced at the Seattle Children's Kids Marathon 2011 on November 26th! To recognize all artists, all submissions will be posted in the Seattle Children's Kids Marathon Victory Recovery Area.
