What does Asha offer for Marathon?
Asha Seattle's marathon training program, "Miles for Smiles", provides the necessary coaching and support system for both experienced and beginner runners. Most of our runners are first timers. The training period lasts over a period of six months and includes:
- Schedules for weekday and weekend runs
- Logistical support during training and marathon
- Running clinics
- Comprehensive guidance from a professional coach Chuck Bartlett
- One-on-one guidance from mentors on running and fundraising goals
Why join Miles for Smiles program?
Running a marathon is a tremendous personal achievement. However, besides getting fit and making a great social network, Asha gives you a reason to run for. The funds raised through this program go a long way in making a difference in lives of many underprivileged communities in India.
