My passion for running began in high school and has grown exponentially. During high school, I ran cross-country, and my success led to competing in the State Championship my senior year. I also ran a sub-19-minute 5K during that time. After high school, I attended Seattle Pacific University and graduate with a degree in Nursing. My passion for health, fitness, and running has led me to encourage others to begin their own fitness journeys. I work closely with mothers and their families and encourage them to be the best version of themselves and work towards a fitness-minded way of life.
My first marathon was the 2016 Amica Insurance Seattle Marathon in which I qualified for the Boston Marathon with a time of 3:34:08. I have since gone on to complete more than 20 marathons with a new PR- 3:02, 10 half marathons, and a few ultras. My long-term running goals are to eventually race in all 6 major marathons (Abbott World Marathon Majors) and to run a marathon in every state. Additionally, I plan to dive deeper into the world of Ultra running. I recently placed 1st overall female and 2nd overall at Jackpot ultra 50 miler with a time of 7:44:42. I look forward to running my first 100 miler Strawberry Fields Forever June 26th 2021.
I am a mother of three beautiful children. We enjoy camping, hiking, skiing, and many outdoor adventures. More recently I’ve endeavored into the world of mountaineering, in which my dear friend David and I attempted Mt. Rainier solo. Snow camping and dealing with the elements for hours on end were a new challenge for me.
