Victor Solis Garavito
2020-2021 Ambassador
I am a 13-time marathoner, Guinness marathon record holder, Lyme disease survivor, psychologist and school teacher. Since the age of 21 I have suffered from Lyme Disease. During my illness I developed "holes in the brain" which left me speechless, not seeing, unable to walk and was basically a vegetable. I met the doctor who saved my life.
Seattle is a city that I visited for the first time in 2010. On that trip I fell in love with the city, its people, and its musical culture. As a good runner I plan my vacations to run marathons and look forward to joining my family living in Washington at the Amica Insurance Seattle Marathon.
