Hope

My name is Hope Ryan, and I live in Everett, Washington. After graduating high school, I fell in love with distance running and started training for my first half marathon. Upon crossing that first finish line, that goal morphed into the goal of running 22 half marathons before my 22nd birthday during the pandemic. Since then, I have completed 3 ultra-marathon challenges, 26 half marathons, and countless 5ks. I graduated from ASU with my bachelor's in Nutrition in 2021 and am graduating with my M.S. in Medical Nutrition in the summer of 2023, as well as having my Certified Nutrition Coach license through NASM. I have always been passionate about living a healthy lifestyle through exercise and nutrition and how running benefits your physical and mental health. When I am not at the gym, you might catch me putting in miles with my pup Ollie, hiking around the Seattle area, or seeking out the best vegan food the PNW has to offer. I am super excited to be back for a fourth year as a Seattle Marathon ambassador and to see what adventures this year holds!
