I live in Tacoma, Washington with my husband and our dog Gabby. After recently retiring from my 26+ year corporate desk job, I found myself with lots of time to run. The years leading up to my decision to retire were a challenge to say the least and running literally saved me in the process. Running provided the mental clarity and balance I desperately needed during a very uncertain time, so naturally my running continued.

I want everyone to feel the incredible sense of accomplishment that comes from reaching your goals. It doesn’t matter what season of life you are in; I want to inspire people to believe they can accomplish anything they set their mind to.
So, if you see me out there running a race or scrambling through the trails, say Hi! I would love to know what you’re training for so I can cheer you on!
In 2019 I was inspired by a friend to try running my first marathon. Up until then, the longest distance I had EVER run was a half marathon – which was a pretty big deal all by itself. Several months of training and many miles later, I not only accomplished that goal…I smashed it. Training for and running a marathon revealed an entire new world that I never knew existed and gave me some awesome lifelong friends.
