I hail from Kelowna, BC Canada and am about a 5.5 hour drive from Seattle.
I started running, like truly running outdoors in March of 2018. I am a big framed runner; like a proud, fat runner; or an overweight runner and I love running. Running has no size, shape or color or dimension, if you want to make it happen, you will make it happen.
Part of my exercise reason has always been to show my kids that exercising should be a way of life, a healthy life. Being a part of something, like a running community brings more than just kilometers and miles, it brings your heart closer to serenity and peace.

Exercise has been a vital part of life for me. I have always done some sort of weight and high intensity interval training, but I wasn’t a runner. I finally bought a treadmill the winter of 2017 because I wanted to move more during the winter months. I started using my treadmill more and more. I started speed walking on it and built my speed up to jogging. One lovely spring day, just after my 43rd birthday, I took my body outside and my legs started moving fast, then faster, then I was running! I ran around 3 kms and finished with a 5 km run! I couldn't believe it!
