Ryan is an RRCA-certified coach who has been helping runners via formal and informal coaching for over 10 years. He has been a runner for over 25 years and is a 2:40 marathoner. He has coached runners from first time marathoners to those who have qualified for the Boston Marathon with over 20 minutes to spare.
ABOUT COACH RYAN HILL
Ryan has been a runner for 30 years and coach for 10 years. He has run distances from 400 meters to the 50K, including a personal best of 2:40 in the marathon. He has coached runners at distances from the mile to 24 hours, including marathoners ranging from Boston Qualifiers to first timers. Ryan believes that certain foundational principles apply to almost everybody but we are all individuals and can not be expected to benefit from the same cookie cutter program. Individualized training plans are a necessity to make the most of the effort we put into our running.

Online Running Coach:
Full service online coaching. Begin with email and telephone introductions in order for you and your coach to get to know each other. Then remain in regular communication with your coach via email.
- Initial consultation via email and telephone.
- Weekly email check-ins where your coach will review how the past week went and send a plan for the coming week.
- Reach out to your coach at any time via email, text, or messenger services to ask questions or share updates, good or bad.

About Coach Williams
Coach Williams has worked with athletes of all levels for the past 18 years. He was the Head of Brooks Sports Marketing for 13 years before starting Sound Running in 2018. A competitive runner as well, Coach Williams ran at Texas Tech University where he received his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology and a Master's in Biomechanics. As a runner, Coach Williams has run the Boston Marathon 5x as well as the Chicago, London, Berlin, and NYC Marathons. (He won the 2002 OKC Memorial and 2011 Seattle Marathon) Coach Williams has a marathon PR of 2:22 and was once a hand model. Learn more about Coach Williams in the this podcast or follow along

The Seattle Green Lake Running Group was created with the intent of creating a running community that supports and encourages a healthy and active lifestyle through group events and participation. Our goal is to try and have something for everyone and the more runners that attend events the better chance that there will be running buddies for all. Whether you're looking to increase your cardiovascular endurance, meet some new exercise buddies or have training partners for your next race you've come to the right place.
