Parking Lot: closed to the public
Only event staff, medical/emergency personnel, volunteers or race participants will be admitted into the fenced event areas. Spectators and public will be respectively asked to stay outside of the fenced areas to maintain compliance with our COVID protocols.
Event setup will begin at 4:00am on Saturday, November 27th. Cleanup will be completed by 7:00pm on Sunday, November 28th.

The full marathon course will use certain pedestrian/bike trails within Magnuson Park on Sunday, November 28, 2021 only. All used trails/lanes will all be open for shared public use.
Event setup will begin at 5:00am on Sunday, November 28th. Cleanup will be completed by 1:00pm the same day.

SEATTLE KIDS MARATHON
The Seattle Kids Marathon will take place entirely within Gas Works Park and will not use public streets.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2022
AMICA INSURANCE SEATTLE MARATHON & HALF MARATHON
All impact times are approximate.
Traffic officials will be letting cars pass during street closures when there are gaps between runners so that there will be continuous, if delayed, vehicle access throughout the event for all businesses and residences.
All streets will be fully opened by 2:30pm or after the last runner has passed (whichever is sooner).
The Burke Gilman Trail, Gas Works Park and Magnuson Park will be in use by the event, but still open for public use.

Free street parking and paid lots are available nearby. See the map for details on where to park. Shaded blue areas indicate suggested pickup and drop off spots for app-based rideshares (about $25 one-way from The Westin Seattle).

On Sunday, November 28th, the Gas Works Park Parking lot will not be open for parking.

On Sunday, November 28th, N Northlake Way from Densmore Ave to 6th Ave NE will be closed from approximately 5:55am – 7:30am. If you plan on parking on N Northlake Way, you must be parked before the street closes.

Always defer to the posted signs for parking rules.
BIKE
With the course largely on the Burke Gilman, biking to and from the event is a great way to avoid the street closures and parking. Designated bike corrals will be available for anyone who would like to ride their bike to and from the event. You will be responsible for bringing a lock and securing your bike.
Metro BUS
Metro routes #31, 32 and 62 all come within 2-7 blocks of Gas Works Park.
shuttle bus
One-way shuttle buses from the Westin Seattle will transport guests of the Westin to Gas Works Park at 5:15am, 5:30am, 6:00am and 6:15am on Sunday, November 28, 2021.
*We cannot guarantee on-time arrival with the 6:00am and 6:15am shuttles. Plan accordingly.

There are no metro buses running early enough on Sunday, November 28th to guarantee on-time arrival to the start line. Metro buses are a great option for leaving the event and for getting to and from the Kids Marathon on Saturday, November 27th.
