AMICA INSURANCE SEATTLE MARATHON & HALF MARATHON

All impact times are approximate.

Traffic officials will be letting cars pass during street closures when there are gaps between runners so that there will be continuous, if delayed, vehicle access throughout the event for all businesses and residences.

All streets will be fully opened by 2:30pm or after the last runner has passed (whichever is sooner).

The Burke Gilman Trail, Gas Works Park and Magnuson Park will be in use by the event, but still open for public use.

driving & rideshare

Free street parking and paid lots are available nearby. See the map for details on where to park. Shaded blue areas indicate suggested pickup and drop off spots for app-based rideshares (about $25 one-way from The Westin Seattle).

Please Note

  • On Sunday, November 28th, the Gas Works Park Parking lot will not be open for parking.

  • On Sunday, November 28th, N Northlake Way from Densmore Ave to 6th Ave NE will be closed from approximately 5:55am – 7:30am. If you plan on parking on N Northlake Way, you must be parked before the street closes.

  • Always defer to the posted signs for parking rules.

BIKE

With the course largely on the Burke Gilman, biking to and from the event is a great way to avoid the street closures and parking. Designated bike corrals will be available for anyone who would like to ride their bike to and from the event. You will be responsible for bringing a lock and securing your bike.

Metro BUS

Metro routes #31, 32 and 62 all come within 2-7 blocks of Gas Works Park.

shuttle bus

One-way shuttle buses from the Westin Seattle will transport guests of the Westin to Gas Works Park at 5:15am, 6:30am, 6:00am and 6:15am on Sunday, November 28, 2021.

please note

There are no metro buses running early enough on Sunday, November 28th to guarantee on-time arrival to the start line. Buses are a great option for leaving the event and for getting to and from the Kids Marathon on Saturday, November 27th.
