Running has been a constant thread throughout my life, a space for clarity, challenge, and connection. Over the past year, my journey shifted when a severe back injury forced me to slow down and rebuild from the ground up. What started as a setback became an opportunity to reconnect with why I ran in the first place: not just for miles or pace, but for resilience, community, and joy. Now back to running healthy, I’m embracing the process with a new perspective, celebrating progress, prioritizing sustainable training, and showing up consistently through Seattle’s rain, hills, and everything in between. Whether it’s long runs around the city, or cheering on fellow runners, I believe running is about supporting each other and finding strength in the journey.
