I’m a Software Engineer by profession, originally from India. Outside my 9–5 (and sometimes in between those hours), you’ll find me running through Seattle neighborhoods. I started running in 2020, when I moved to Seattle during the COVID era. At the time, I had little to do and was looking to lose weight. Slowly, through consistency and disciplined race training, running turned into a habit—and now a healthy obsession. I believe running is for everyone, and I’m deeply inspired by women who run, especially those in their 40s and beyond. They remind me that I wasn’t late to start running at 29. I live by the motto “Miles to Go,” which helps me remember that there’s no real finish line (as if we got indefinite miles to run) - the joy is in the miles we’re running right now. Because of this mindset, I truly enjoy my races. In fact, when I cross the finish line, I often feel like running even more, as if I don’t want the race to end. 🏃♀️✨
