Announcements (start line music-not too loud):

  • Half Marathon race will begin in 15 minutes. 

  • Half Marathon will be starting in waves. Please check for the pacer signs and line up near the pacer who best matches you estimated time.

  • Vendor booths are open. Feel free to take time now to visit the vendors. They’ll also be available after the race.

  •  A very special thanks to our volunteers. There are over 100 volunteers out here today making this event run smoothly. Some got here as early as 5am and some will stay until the bitter end. Volunteering is a great way to support the Seattle Marathon and we are so grateful to have such an amazing community supporting us.

You’ve probably noticed we have an amazing selection of snacks and beverages in the victory recovery area today. A big thank you to Beechers Cheese, Partners Crackers, Nuun, and Talking Rain Beverage Company, for their very generous donations!

LET ME RUN

Let Me Run is a nonprofit wellness program that inspires boys to be themselves, be active, and belong. Twice a week for seven weeks, trained volunteer coaches lead an elementary or middle school team through practice. Designed to amplify confidence, self-expression, and respect for others, each practice includes a lesson that incorporates running, games and activities. Each fall and spring season culminates in a 5k race festival that celebrates the boys’ personal growth.
